OREGON COMMUNITY UMC - EVENTS & ACTIVITIES:
SPECIAL EVENTS:
Ash Wednesday Worship Services is on March 5 at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary at Oregon Community UMC, 1214 Creek Road, Lititz, PA 17543
Join us tonight as we begin the season of Lent with an Ash Wednesday Service on March 5 at 7PM at OCUMC remembering Jesus’ 40 days of prayer and fasting in the wilderness, receiving communion and the imposition of ashes. This is always a powerful service that reminds us of our humanity and the love of a divine God who invites us into holiness and eternal life.
We come together to worship God: Father, Son & Holy Spirit. We fling wide the doors of this church, together as a community of churches. We come in somber celebration of this holy start to Lent remembering our mortality, honoring Jesus’ sacrifice through communion and placing our hope in the Resurrection to come. We are glad you are along for this Lenten journey over these 40 days!!
